S-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g... Feels amazing, doesn’t it? Especially when you first wake up, it’s such a refreshing way to start the day. And let’s be honest, watching a baby stretch after a nap is undeniably cute! But what about stretching our creativity?

In voice acting, pushing your creative boundaries is essential to staying relevant and getting work. Yet, stretching creatively isn’t always as easy as it sounds. It often involves stepping out of your comfort zone, which can feel uncomfortable. But that discomfort? That’s where the magic happens.

When a producer or director asks you to, "Give me A-B-C's of that last sentence.", or says, "Can you do it differently than that last read?", it’s a cue to embrace that challenge. Lean into the discomfort and let go. Remember, growth is always on the other side of that unease.
